Buddhist and Catholic Blended Wedding
Lynn & Seth
Lynn and Seth both had strong traditions to bring to the table when planning their Buddhist and Catholic blended wedding. Lynn is Vietnamese and had preformed the traditional ceremony already but wanted to honor her beliefs in front of friends and family on the big day! Seth wanted the same for his Catholic devotion. Both decided to start their union with a uniquely blended ceremony. They were married by a Catholic Priest, and a Buddhist Monk together! The beautifully intertwined ceremony not only honored two lives blending into one but brought two families a sense of belonging.
The location was the picturesque gardens of Sand Rock Farm in Aptos, California. The Unique details of this fascinating destination wedding don’t stop there. These two sought inspiration from their weekend mornings in New York City where “breakfast date” = doughnuts! To represent, the creative bride and groom added a modern twist on an age old tradition, opting for an over the top doughnut bar instead of a wedding cake! Bite for bite, this was a wedding hit!
Another favorite food inspiration was the Dinner Sandwich Buffett which featured a classy New York Style variety. Yum!
A great, one of a kind wedding, for others to pull inspiration from. Check out more of Lynn and Seth’s unique wedding ideas in the images here.
